1 DELIVERY

For delivery of any amount of wine there is a subsidised flat charge of £11 Plus VAT = £13.20 for most of Great Britain except Scottish Highlands & Islands and Ireland please 

For "local" deliveries to North West, West and Central London, one of our wines upto the list value of £6 will be gifted. Select from the list in . "local" means London postcodes: All EC, NW, W and WC postcodes. SW (north of The Thames) - SW1, SW3, SW7, SW5, SW6, SW10, SE1, SE11  and N1, N7 and N5.

I also hand deliver small quantities at Marble Arch or Paddington stations to avoid the delivery charge.

We use APC couriers' Fragile Service. Your order will be ordinarily dispatched within 48 hours upon receipt and clearance of payment unless advised. Hyde Park Wines Limited is a small firm and we may be abroad seeking new wines or at a wine tasting event. If you don’t hear from us

2 MINIMUM AGE

Under the Licensing Act 2003 by placing an order for this product, you truthfully declare that you are 18 years of age or over. Any such purchase by someone under 18 years will be treated as obtaining goods by deception and will always be followed be legal action by ASDW plus a lifetime ban by all the members of the ASDW. Better go elsewhere.

3 NO MINIMUM ORDER

Following the 2005 change in UK licensing laws, there is no minimum order.

4 PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. Unless specifically specified wine prices do not include the cost of delivery, which will be charged at our published delivery rates in force at the time you submit your order.

5 PAYMENT

Payment is strictly required with order prior to delivery except by arrangement. Hyde Park Wines Limited accepts BACS bill payment bank transfer, cheque and payment through Pay Pal by credit and debit card.

6  LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

We take great care to pack all wines carefully and losses or damage are extremely rare, but please inspect all goods carefully on receipt and sign carriers' paperwork  "damaged" or "short delivered" if necessary.  Please note that we will only be able to consider claims for loss or damage in transit if (a) received in writing (including by e-mail) within 3 working days of delivery, and (b) carriers' paperwork has been signed with the necessary qualification as above.

7 CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you are entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund provided:

(1) you notify us in writing by post, fax or e-mail within 7 working days of receiving your goods and

(2) you return well packaged all the goods to us in good saleable condition and at your own expense within 28 days of receiving them. 

Please note that the right of cancellation applies only to standard items ordered from our published wine list, and does not apply to items which have been specially sourced or ordered on your behalf such as personalised labels.

8 FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Hyde Park Wines Limited will destroy any credit card or bank account information obtained from you after payment processing has been completed.

9 DATA PROTECTION

Under the Data Protection Act, all companies and individuals that store customer information on computer are obliged to explain what this information is to be used for. Hyde Park Wines Limited will be storing contact but not financial information about you to provide you with an effective mail order service, update and improve our customer records, inform you of other products and services which may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such mailings please write to us at the address above.

10 TRADE & INSTITUTIONAL CUSTOMERS 

Orders supplied to trade and institutional customers are subject to separate trade terms of business, and such orders are only accepted subject to these terms.

11 OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS 

Hyde Park Wines Limited is not currently equipped to sell wine outside the UK.

Hyde Park Wines Limited is a founder member and organiser of The Association of Small Direct Wine-Merchants (ASDW) which was formed, as the name implies, by a group of British independent small wine merchants directly selling to the general public via mail order and the internet.

Hyde Park Wines is also a member of the UK Wine and Spirits Trade Association (WSTA)
